2 Data Controller

3.1 Information You Provide Directly

- KYC and Identity Verification Providers: Third-party providers that assist anim6 in verifying the identity and age of Members as required by PAGCOR and Philippine AML regulations;
- Payment Processors: GCash, Maya (PayMaya), BPI, BDO, Metrobank, and other licensed Philippine financial institutions and payment intermediaries that process deposits and withdrawals;
- Game Providers: Licensed game studios and content providers who supply games to the anim6 platform — limited to session data necessary for game operation;
- IT and Cloud Service Providers: Technology vendors who host or support the anim6 Platform infrastructure, bound by strict data processing agreements;

6 Data Retention
anim6 retains personal data only for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable Philippine laws and PAGCOR regulations. The following general retention periods apply:

Upon expiry of the applicable retention period, personal data will be securely deleted, anonymised, or destroyed in accordance with anim6's data disposal procedures. Anonymised or aggregated data that can no longer identify you may be retained for statistical analysis without time limit.

- Regular Security Audits: The Platform undergoes regular penetration testing and security assessments by independent security professionals;

Important: While anim6 employs robust security measures, no system is completely immune to security risks. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. anim6 will never ask you for your password via email, chat, or SMS. If you receive such a request, do not respond and report it to us immediately.

9 Your Rights as a Data Subject
Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) of the Philippines, you have the following rights in respect of your personal data held by anim6. These rights may be subject to limitations under applicable law and PAGCOR / AMLA compliance requirements.
To exercise any of the above rights, please contact the anim6 Data Protection Officer using the details in Section 14. anim6 will respond to all data subject requests within fifteen (15) calendar days of receipt, except where a longer period is permitted under Philippine law. Responses to data access requests may be subject to verification of your identity.
10 Minors and Age Restriction
STRICT 21+ POLICY: The anim6 Platform is strictly restricted to individuals aged 21 years and above. anim6 does not knowingly collect, process, or store the personal data of individuals below the age of 21.
anim6 implements mandatory age verification as part of its KYC process to enforce this restriction. If anim6 discovers or has reason to believe that personal data has been collected from an individual below the age of 21, anim6 will immediately:
- Suspend the relevant account;
- Delete or destroy the personal data of the underage individual to the extent permitted by law;
- Notify PAGCOR and other relevant Philippine authorities as required by law.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child under 21 has registered on or interacted with the anim6 Platform, please contact the DPO immediately using the contact details in Section 14.
11 Cross-Border Data Transfers
Certain third-party service providers used by anim6 — including cloud infrastructure providers and KYC technology providers — may process personal data in servers located outside the Philippines. Where such cross-border transfers occur, anim6 ensures that:
- The recipient country or organization provides an adequate level of data protection consistent with the Data Privacy Act of 2012;
- Binding data processing agreements are in place with all international processors, incorporating appropriate data protection safeguards;
- Such transfers are authorized under the applicable provisions of RA 10173 and the issuances of the NPC.
anim6 does not transfer personal data to any country or organization that does not meet the data protection standards required under Philippine law.
12 Personal Data Breach Notification
In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to give rise to a real risk of serious harm to affected data subjects, anim6 will comply with its breach notification obligations under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and the implementing guidelines of the National Privacy Commission, including:
- Notifying the National Privacy Commission within seventy-two (72) hours of becoming aware of a qualifying breach, to the extent feasible;
- Notifying affected data subjects without undue delay where the breach is likely to adversely affect their rights and freedoms;
- Maintaining a record of all personal data breaches, including those that do not require NPC notification.
Breach notifications to affected Members will be sent to the mobile number or email address registered with your anim6 account and will include a description of the nature of the breach, the data affected, the likely consequences, and the measures anim6 is taking to address the breach.
13 Updates to This Privacy Policy
anim6 reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in applicable law, PAGCOR or NPC guidance, anim6's data processing activities, or best practices in data protection. Material changes to this Policy will be communicated to registered Members via SMS to their registered mobile number or by a prominent notice on the anim6 Platform at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the effective date of such changes.
The date on which this Policy was last revised is shown at the top of this document. Your continued use of the anim6 Platform after the effective date of any revised Policy constitutes your acknowledgement of and agreement to the updated Policy. If you do not accept any changes, you must cease using the Platform and may request closure of your account in accordance with the account termination procedures set out in the anim6 Terms & Conditions.
